I haven't seen any official announcement yet, but some new products have already appeared on the official IFA website under Ecovacs' name. While the robotic vacuum cleaners seem to be identical to the ones I saw last year, the popular Winbot window cleaner robot lineup will be refreshed this year.
The current Winbot W700 line will probably be replaced by the W800 series which brings lower noise and lower weight and a new design to the mainly unchanged technology. The listed Winbot W830 will work on most glass surfaces including framed and frameless windows and even horizontal glass panels.
The innovation will be presented in the Winbot W900 series. The Winbot W930 will be able to change direction without turning the outer shell, thanks to the new iSmart Drive System. The middle part of the robot can move in any direction while the outer part with the cleaning cloths can clean the window to the edges and corners. This robot measures the dimensions of the glass surface and plans its route accordingly to clean the window in the shortest possible time.
IFA will open in a few days from now, and I will be there to check these new robots out.
