Ecovacs Winbot 7

Ecovacs came with two new robots to the International CES this year. One of them, the Winbot 7 was only new to the US market, I have already seen it demoed at IFA a few months ago. It is a window cleaner robot that only needs to be attached to one side of the glass pane, it stays there with the power of vacuum. Cleaning is done with a damped and a dry microfiber cloth, and the robot can handle frameless windows as well. Winbot 7 runs on electricity provided via a power cord. In case of a power outage it can stay on the window for approximately half an hour. Read more about Winbot 7.

The new product at Ecovacs booth was the Deebot D735. It is a newly designed robot with a more elegant and slimmer outfit and some technical improvements. The robot is only 8 cm high, so it can go under more furniture than its competitors. It can run for 70-100 minutes with a single charge and filters the air with a HEPA grade filter. The 2.5 kg (5.5 lb) Deebot D735 comes with a docking station, a virtual wall and a remote control, and provides scheduling option as well. Availability and price of the D735 is not yet known.
