Ambrogio robots for 2012

Zucchetti Ambrogio L50 Evolution

Zucchetti has recently revamped its entire lawn mower lineup for 2012. The new Ambrogio portfolio covers all lawn sizes from 400 sq m (4,300 sq ft) to 20,000 sq m (215,000 sq ft) (3×soccer field, 4×American football field) with only 13 different models. The robots are now organized into five levels, where Ambrogio L100 robots were replaced by the new Ambrogio L75 Deluxe that RobotBG.com was the first to reveal with all its details in December last year.

The new lineup is much easier to understand than the one Zucchetti had for years. The models, titled as Basic, represent the most simple versions of the given levels, inheriting the design of previous models. The Deluxe, Elite and Evolution models provide more coverage, better features and more options, and they all received the new retro outfit. The Carbon models represent the state of the art in the given level, distinguished with a black carbon fiber design.

The most important addition to the line, apart from the Ambrogio L75 Deluxe, is the new Ambrogio L50 Evolution that includes a docking station for automatic charging. Previously the Ambrogio L50 models had to be charged manually; therefore, constant human attention was needed. The new L50 Evolution comes with a 12 m guide wire and a docking station that provides automatic charging to the robot. The L50 line still runs without perimeter wires.
